Neon Tanzanian Mahenge Pink Spinel & Yellow Diamond Ring

Spinel collectors, look no further. This exceptional Spinel & Diamond ring features one of the most beautiful pinkish red Spinels we have ever seen. At first glance, this looks like one of the famed “Jedi Spinels” from Burma; but it is in fact one of the Tanzanian Spinels from Mahenge which we sourced in 2010 at the height of the mine production. This gem has a rich tone, a medium saturated red with pink and orange undertones, which is truly beautiful in all light conditions. It was cut in a modified round, also known as a “Portuguese cut” which is known to get optimal sparkle from Spinels. We set this in one of our custom mountings, which uses a halo to provide sparkle and a combo of white & yellow Diamond accents on the shank to provide contrast to the rich red Spinel. This is one of the most beautiful rings in our case, and represents great value for a truly premier Spinel.
