This classy gold & Diamond ring is affectionately known as a Cigar band, since the wide gold shank of the ring mimics the label on a Cigar. This ring style has been made for hundreds of years; this particular ring is a late 20th century example. In this case, a wide gold band is set with a bezel-set center Diamond with additional Diamond pave’ on the sides, all of which leading to the wide gold shank that is consistent in width around the finger. This ring was made in heavy 18k gold which provides a bold look on the hand but also makes the ring very durable- ideal for those who are hard on their jewelry.
