Anglo-Indian ebonised teak bookcase, c. 1850

Provenance: Sir David Tang (1954-2017) acquired from Guinevere Antiques. This bookcase has four glazed doors enclosing two adjustable shelves and four panelled doors below; and is on bracket feet. This was most probably made on a Colonial estate, copying an English model.
